Welcome to EzyTalk, a communication platform provided by EZYTALK. By accessing or using the EzyTalk application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, logging in, or otherwise using EzyTalk, you agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all users, whether signing up manually with email and password or using Google Sign-In.

2Account Creation and Authentication

EzyTalk provides two primary methods for account creation and authentication:

• Manual Sign-Up: Users can create an account by providing an email, password, first name, last name, mobile number, mother tongue, and optional middle name. Upon successful manual sign-up, users can log in using their email and password.
• Google Sign-In: Users can sign in using their Google account, which may require completing a profile with additional details (e.g., mobile number, mother tongue) if not already provided.

Account Linking and Security Restrictions:

• If you sign up manually with an email and later attempt to log in using Google Sign-In with the same email, or vice versa, the system may restrict email/password login for security reasons after certain actions (e.g., logging out and attempting to log in again with email/password after using Google Sign-In).
• To resolve this, you must use the "Forgot Password" feature to reset your password. This allows login via both email/password and Google Sign-In thereafter, ensuring account security.
• Manually entered data (e.g., name, mobile number, mother tongue) during sign-up will not be affected when using Google Sign-In with the same email, preserving user profile integrity.

3User Responsibilities

• Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during sign-up and profile completion. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Account Security: You are responsible for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches.
• Prohibited Activities: You may not use EzyTalk to:
  • Violate any laws or regulations.
  • Impersonate others or provide false information.
  • Engage in harmful, abusive, or illegal activities.
  • Share sensitive personal information during calls that you do not wish to be transcribed or translated.

4Calls and Communication Features

• You may initiate one-on-one or group audio/video calls with other registered EzyTalk users via the Contacts and Call pages.
• Real-time speech recognition, translation, and text-to-speech features are available during calls to support multilingual communication.
• Transcriptions of spoken words may be temporarily stored and shared among call participants for live captioning and translation purposes.
• You are responsible for the content you speak during calls. Avoid sharing confidential, financial, or sensitive personal data.

5Password Reset

If you encounter login restrictions due to using the same email for both manual and Google Sign-In authentication, you must reset your password using the "Forgot Password" feature. A password reset link will be sent to your registered email, allowing you to regain access to both authentication methods.

6Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in prohibited activities, or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your access to EzyTalk will cease, but data retained will be handled as per our Privacy Policy.

7Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of EzyTalk, including the application design, logos, and code, are owned by EZYTALK or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EZYTALK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of EzyTalk, including issues related to account access, data loss, call quality, transcription accuracy, translation errors, or authentication errors.

9Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. You will be notified of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of EzyTalk after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Government of India.
